The safe and well-dressed phone

The list of hardships my phones have endured is long and horrifying, including things like being dropped in the ocean, submerged in a vat of cake batter, and trampled by an angry sheep. Since I probably will never learn, I decided it would be safest attached directly to my neck, since I am fairly careful about keeping that body part out of harms way. Success! I've been using this high-tech system for 3 months with no incident, and there's room for an ID and cash, too.

The Ceremony

I feel like an historic first blog post calls for a bit of ceremony, so I will say a few words. Ahem. Welcome, one and all, and thank you for being here to celebrate this newborn blog and all the delicious potential contained herein. I hope this blog grows up to be a good blog, full of succulent information and unexpected twists and turns, and choc full of mind-blowing photographs. As any loving guardian would, I hope the blog meets nice friends who visit often, and that the blog will be a good influence on them and teach them to do wonderful things. Finally, I send this blog out into the world with plentiful love and nurturing, to get people stoked about all things handmade.
Thank you.
